There are those days when you're just driven to daytime drinking...
You know those days, right?
It's worse when there is actually no drink to be drank;
When things go flying before you can even catch your breath;
You get beat upon by life and also fists;
Your best bud is mad at you;
You got assignments due at school
and two jobs to boot;
You gotta make time for the dentist to do his business.
(I'll have you all know - contrary to popular belief, I do not have a big mouth-
and so it really hurts afterwards, what with the fibro and all!)
My hair is atrocious and requiring attention and care...
You get the picture, I'm sure,
Because I know you feel it, too.

New Horizons (per second)

Like a probe to Uranus,
the last of the gas giants.
Only been visited once
by humanoid technology
and technological spacemen
Oh, my, what a nice asteroid belt!
(Might I interest you in some fuel?)
Like a great blob of pizza dough,
Every 16 seconds, heated more and more,
I'm off-centre and tilted (Story of my life)
A whole new speed of space craft and light;
Up close and personal.

Old and wise, I'm tired of what life brings.
Seen many things, and suffered the stings.

Thoughts bounce back and forth,
Big Bang inside my brain,
A wild whirling crash course,
Exploding inner peace drain.

Wishing for a black hole to open and obliterate my soul.
A bad mood, like a demon-
You must exercise, until it's free, Man!

News flash: nobody's fine.
Kaluha in fudge is a secret.

Destiny- because the best things happen by chance.
Make your life a masterpiece.
Dance through the crowd.

Sometimes the clever thing is not to be too clever.

Everything you do should matter
Be purposeful, intentful, meaningful,
and always be fucking delightful,
Like a beam of fucking sunshine.

Supernatural

About a week ago,
I heard the angels talking.
Your demon ray-gun bullshit
It doesn't work on me.
It's not your fault.
When god is righteous,
You get the hell out of the way.
You should forgive yourself.
Explaining freedom to angels
Is like explaining poetry to fish.

You are not alone,
Is all I'm trying to say.

spouse becomes spice, no?
Goose becomes geese
Though mooses are not meeses
Spouses can be spicy
And sometimes even icy
Like scotch on the rocks
and a life of hard knocks.
Alright, friends, it's Friday night,

and good times with your spice!

What a beautiful plant!
Genus Ornithogalum
Perennial genius
I chose it cuz it has a weird name
Like you,
Dubium Sunshine
Luminous aura
Gleam beam
Cheerful sheen
Bulbious beginnings
A slender stalk,
Growing linear basal leaves
Bearing clusters of sun stars
that wilt and whither in time
Death wind blows new life;
the end.
